I'll keep this short and sweet...
If there's one thing that I can remember that my dad always told me, it would be this:
In his words, "if you ain't got nothin good to say... don't say nothin at all".
Live by this, and you will save yourself a lot of problems.
Alot of people dont follow this they alot of things that are not nice and they just dont care. i was one of thoes people but then i got to know god and everything change for the better i even said sorry to all those people i hurt and im glad im not like that anymore
ReplyDeleteSee Pastor Damien, I learned this a long time ago when I was a kid. This is what they tell you in the hood, my mom, dad, sisters, and brothers told me, but I because was so tough and cool, and not afraid, it got to the point where rather than doing this, I let people know whats up what should not have been said. And from this, I THANK GOD never got jumped or beat up for or even worse man. Yeah man and THANK GOD now I understand this, man before you say something THINK AND THEN SPEAK or at that, if you do not have to say nothing, don't say nothing, listen, you might learn something. This is what I have been doing and because I have been listening have learned more from those people, have even been able to see where their problem or what they have been going through in their lives is and then even help them out. GOD BLESS Pastor Damien man and all of you! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYes, when we don't nothing nothing to say. Is better to be quite, than say something we will regret later.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
This is very true PAstor!!!! Most of the time we put ourselves in position where we have no way out because of what we say...this very statement is something that i've heard a lot in my lifetime (if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all) because really its like you have put it, it does get you in nasty situations!* So right on with this post and i personally have learn to train myself to not say anything if i have nothing (good/nice) to say...So thank you so much Pastor for this post :) God bless you!
