Misconceptions (PART 2)... People
Where is this tree?
I mean, what city, state or country......?
As I was saying a few days ago in my last post, we people have some strange misconceptions about many places in the world. We like to judge things based on what the media or on what others say. But many times we have not even gathered enough info (I mean rock solid info) to make a fair judgement. And that is what leads to misconceptions or wrong impressions of people, places and things.
The one area of misconception that I wanna focus on today is with people. Many times a person draws an opinion about a person based on what someone else told them about that person. But they never even took the time to get to know that person for themselves. They haven't checked if the other persons information is true or not. They are not really 100%, but they act like they are.
Who gives us the right to draw up conclusions about others? Who told you that you know the whole story because you've heard a little bit? How dare you think that you can say a person has done this or that, or is like this or that, if you don't even know them.
We need to be more careful. Because just like we can be misinformed by the media... We can for sure be misinformed by other people.
And that can lead to MAJOR misconceptions.
Just think about it.
